AMI GROUP NAMES MEGAN IRELAND NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT
AMI Group is delighted to announce Megan Ireland as the new Vice President of Production and Distribution Management. A graduate of University of Virginia, Megan spent nearly a decade at a major airline, initially working in the Finance department, where she collaborated with the Marketing, Reservations, and Sales teams. She later transitioned to Onboard Services, serving as General Manager for the Onboard Buy on Board program, and concluded her tenure there as the General Manager for International Menu and Product Design.
Since joining AMI in 2013, Megan has been an integral part of the company's success. Though first starting in sales, she quickly gained the title of Director of Program Management when she and the company recognized her greatest strength lay in her unique ability to facilitate and spearhead special projects.
In her new role, Megan will oversee all activities associated with AMI's distribution management programs for major airline clients' Wine and Liquor programs. “I am looking forward to learning a new part of the AMI business and humbled to lead the team on co-packing and distribution projects.” Megan will also continue to monitor all aspects of AMI's co-packing operations in the United States and the expansion of a special meal program into Europe, set to begin before Summer 2023.
"Megan's exceptional background and proven leadership in the airline industry are a great asset to AMI Group," says Jeremy Parsons, CEO of AMI Inflight and AMI Wines LLC. "Her ability to drive change and embrace the challenges of our industry will be critical to our ongoing success."
Megan will work closely with the AMI Group board members to shape the company's strategy and direction, focusing on enhancing operations, sales, and customer engagement. As AMI continues to solidify its position as a dependable partner to the travel industry, Megan will play a fundamental role in the expansion of AMI consulting and management services to the company's clients.
